Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about our service, coverage, and what to expect.

Primary Brain Health is a clinically grounded brain health service focused on early detection, risk assessment, and personalized next steps. We are designed to work alongside your existing healthcare providers. While some people come to Primary Brain Health proactively, the service is structured around cognitive health assessment and consultation rather than general wellness alone.
No. Many of our patients come to Primary Brain Health because they want to understand their baseline brain health or reduce long-term risk — not because something feels wrong. Primary Brain Health is designed for people who want to act early, not just those already concerned.
A structured brain health assessment, a clear explanation of your results, and a personalized plan with next steps. If you choose to continue, you get ongoing coordination and support from your Brain Health Navigator.
After your assessment and consultation, you receive a written plan tailored to your biology, risks, and goals. You can move forward independently, with navigator guidance, or with a family member looped in.
In most cases, yes. Primary Brain Health provides the documentation you need to submit to your HSA or FSA administrator. Reimbursement depends on your plan — check with your administrator if you have questions.
Primary Brain Health is not currently billed through insurance. We are a direct-to-patient service, which allows us to spend more time on your brain health rather than on coverage constraints. HSA/FSA funds are typically eligible.
Your results are reviewed by our clinical team, including a board-certified neurologist, and shared with you in a structured consultation. A Brain Health Navigator helps you understand the results and next steps.
It's optional but recommended. Most people find the navigator conversation is where the assessment becomes personally useful — translating results into a plan you can act on.
You will receive an itemized receipt with the clinical service described in terms your HSA/FSA administrator can evaluate. If your administrator requires additional documentation, we can help provide it.
